almost at an end

in a coupl'a weeks

he'll have made a nest in Libra

then relationship fun begins!

I'm as sick as a dog

to coin an old fashioned term

been home for a week

with a 'flu'

bloody thing is insistent

just refuses to let go!

I'm not a very good patient

get restless after a while

i love being at home

but enough is enough

when will things return

to 'normal'?

Ah! that's the thing

it never does

from one moment to the next

but particularly after 'illness'

a new 'state' has been created

and i want to go 'back'

to the 'old' stuff

has the mucus gone to your head?

Sickness is a special time

to listen like never before

a new relationship with your body

a new way of proceeding forward

So Saturn's last day's in Virgo

my god what a bloody 2 yrs

being a Virgo anyway

i know about the body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Saturn's journey thru the Goddess

can be a delicate time

the body being the vehicle

for her purpose here on Earth

So these last few days

before she departs

feels like she's hit me with something huge!

I've been so sick

like never before

god!!!!!!!!!!!!

what have i missed from the lesson?

I know, i've had 2yrs

to get is straight

get it totally clear within my being

but obviously i've missed something

and he's hammering me

before he leaves

well you know what they say

if you survive you become stronger

yes, yes, Saturn's been a companion of mine

for many, many years

but he seems so bloody determined

to get his message across

i'm sure it'll all be clearer

as the months unfold

my new way forward with my body

his gift, my lesson and my understanding

Maybe it's that bloody Pluto

egging Saturn on

he's really giving Saturn the sh . . . .ts

together they make a formidable pair

over the next 2 months

they'll be 'heading' it off

'a sharp awakening' i've heard it said

well buckle up, stay 'centred'

best place will be 'within'

So Saturn has another 2 weeks

before he leaves my sign

a very, very steep learning curve

BACK IN ADELAIDE

Hi all and welcome - from one of Spring's babies - to our season of rebirth and new beginnings!

Just back from some 'Birthday Time' up in 'God's own country', as my Father used to say!! The glorious country of Nth NSW (Oz). From the ocean to the Border country beauty abounds!

Enjoyed the country hospitality of Woodenbong (only 15 kms from the Qld/NSW Border) and a couple of days on the gorgeous coast - first swim of the season!

We visited Tooloom Falls / Aboriginal Place, 'feeling' the presence of many before - a very special place! Kyogle, a country town, confronting the presence of new and old. Uki, protected beneath the magnificent Mt Warning - a pleasant scent of 'alternative' Nth NSW. Stopping for fruit, locally grown. The pockets of rainforest as we make our way north west - sadly only pockets remain. Remnants of 'vandals' everywhere, who came and 'raped' our land? Why is our thinking so uncivilized, so uninclusive of our dear Mother Earth?

But, as i've mentioned many times before - the time of reckoning has come. Those who think they can continue in their ways of raping and plundering - had better think again!

Revolution time has come dear friends - time to arise - give voice to the caring in your heart! Don't just stand by and let 'them' do as they want - 'cause the price has to be paid by us all.

So much beauty surrounds us - our home, this Earth, was given for us to thrive - it's time to wake up and quickly, before it disintegrates before our eyes!

There's no more time for putting off - 'tomorrow' i'll give some time - tomorrow, my friends never arrives - it's now or never to act.

So a paradise still surrounds us - albietly lesser and lesser each day. Each one of us given a body, a voice, a brain to operate with clarity.

So special thanks to the Creator of all for firstly giving me this life - and then a very special teacher of mine - Prem Rawat - revealed to me the 'presence of real life'. My parents who tried their very best to love and nurture me from the start, my ancestors for blessing me with their special gifts, so needed for today. My gorgeous son, who i adore, more special than he knows, my partner and cat for loving me and all my new found friends.

For all the experiences i've had in my life, at times i know they didn't feel like gifts, but they have made me the person i am - now it's my turn to give back.

I do feel a 'purpose', a time to act, a time to speak my truth - this is the time dear friends for us all to do this - this special time has arrived. It requires the very bestest of us all, all our talents and skills and uniqueness - to blend a very special broth - a healing brew is needed.

So let's come together and unite our strengths, this is required now - it's only ignorance and ghosts and shadows that appear, like a rising, powerful army.

Just remember light always wins, love will always conquer - darkness, hate, control and deceipt will glow in the fires of Pluto.

Everything is on our side - the planets around support us - the armagedon has arrived dear friends - but maybe not in the way expected.

Love and light, beauty and care, clarity and peace are our weapons - combined with our unique and individual skills will form the new peace army.

So put down the mags, get up from the coach, turn off the TV for a while - fortify yourself with wholesome food and nutrition, all your strength will be needed.

Keep the focus on love, keep the focus on peace - unite as a family together - comfort and ease, love and support is how we'll know our 'centre'.

Mother Nature's looking incredibly radiant!

Early Spring in Adelaide (Oz) and so much beauty abounds!

Fresh new leaves, glorious blossoms, familiar Oz wattle and so much growth emerging everywhere! Such a paradise we've been given to reside in - such beauty!

The orchards in the Hills here are covered in masses of pink and white blossoms - how they delight! The creeks are still full from the abundant winter rains, the breezes still cool but the sun warming each day. Such an exciting time - Spring has begun and Summer is on the way.

Feeling a little tired and weary this last week - energies strong - and much is happening to people around. Great healing energy is available to us now - not the time to waste these precious opportunities to unravel the masses of stuck emotions lodged in our precious bodies. There are wonderful techniques available now to assist with this.

Dislodging and dissolving these chunks of stuck, confused and obstructing masses of undealt with emotions and trauma - is absolutely necessary, to experience real health and wellness.

Leaving these seeving masses of unresolved energy in the body - comes at a great cost - that cost is serious illness and disease - threatening the continuation of our journey here on Earth.

So the time is now - the energy for healing is super strong and available to us. Of course we need to do the work, take the steps - but great rewards are possible. The greatest reward, of course, to be able to continue our journey here on this amazing earth for as long as possible.

Still in the energy of the 3 Eclipse 'Gateway' - how's it going for you?

During any Eclipse time energies are more intense - but a series of three close together surely creates an opportunity for all us to do some serious reviewing in our lives!

The world around us is changing my dear friends - faster and faster. And it appears, from where i'm standing that those in 'power' and 'control' of our little communities are trying desperately to save the 'sinking ship'. My dear friends it cannot be saved, and will not be saved. There are no band-aids or bandages big enough - no antibiotics strong enough to ward off the new 'virus'. This new 'virus' which is ferocious in it's attack on anything dead and dying. This new 'virus' which has been let loose by the great 'intelligence' to desecrate the decayed remains so that new life can sprout for a 'new age'.

Yes changes as mammoth as these, can cause some discomfort. When everything that we've grown to believe as 'normal' begins to crumble before us - what do we rely on?

Well lets get down to basics here! Who are we anyway? What are we? What is important to me, what is important to you? What do we really need to live a happy and fulfilled life? What are our real needs? What are our values? Could it be that we've become a little lost, become seduced by the promises of eternal life and riches? Time for a little rewind!

I believe it was Einstein that said 'the ability to be exhilarated in the face of the unknown'. Yes, as always, we do have a choice - as to what our focus will be. How do i see the drama playing out before me? Do i see the death and destruction? Or do i see the new life, the transformation and regeneration? I need to remind myself of that daily!

So back to the eclipse time we've been experiencing. It's been a big couple of years for me - and i'm sure i'm not the only one! And as i've most likely mentioned before, being a Virgo, the first place for anything to show up - is first in my body! Damn!!! Can never get away with it!
Funny thing eh! that the body is so necessary to be here? No getting around that one!

Like many wonderful minds have expressed - i too believe that the vast 'Intelligence' that which is the at the core of, and creates all life, is vast, all knowing, all pervasive and holds the space of infinite possibilities.

"Intelligence is all pervasive and infinite - it expresses the infinite organising power in nature" says Deepak Chopra "On a small scale it shows itself as the electron's willingness to behave - on a large scale the great accomplishments of human creativity"

So we exist within the realm of boundless possibilities - we create our life by what we think and how we project these thoughts onto the blank screen of 'our life'. We choose our life, our actions, our thoughts and our responses - we choose our health. I know that sometimes that can be a wee bit confronting - or it can be totally liberating. I choose the latter!

During the 'Gateway' of powerful energy - so kindly given to us to make the transformations necessary for our life now here on earth - my journey has been one of looking at what i've chosen, looking at how i can change the unconscious 'reactions', the unconscious creations. I've been recently re-introduced to Brandon Bay's Journey work - i can recommend it!

I'm ready to clean out the literally rotting corners of my hidden closets - the cancerous growths lying in wait in their crevices - how on earth can i be healthy with insides like that???

We have learnt to pay attention only to the outside of things - including our bodies! The trauma, the pain, the loss and the devastation need to be released from our cells - then true healing can occur - i believe this wholeheartedly.

So i hope you can use this special time to turn your focus inward, seek help in taking the journey to remove the decayed masses which have taken up residence in your very cells - health is not possible without their removal.

Thank you life, thank you divine intelligence, thank you creator - thank you dear teachers - thank you to all who love and care for me - thank you for everything.

Time for work dear ones - but this will not be in vain.

CONCENTRATED ECLIPSE TIME

THE 3RD ECLIPSE OF THE SEASON

Well folks we certainly live in concentrated times!

Our influential and insistent neighbours – the massive planetary bodies above us, are coming together to put on the play of all plays! Drama at its best!

Presently all of the outer planets are Retrograde – from our perspective here on earth, they appear to be moving in reverse. Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto and Chiron are all performing a nifty back step rumba – creating new sounds, new vibrations and a completely new dance.

I tend to think of the planets as being more concentrated when they’re in reverse – like they’re trying to make sure we get their message by going over the same territory again and again.

Having all of the outer planets retrograde at the same time can create a particular intensity – a concentrated form of energy – from them all!

Add to that – we’re in a particularly potent Eclipse year – 2009 has 6 Eclipses this year (the last one Dec. 31st actually occurring Jan 1 in Aust. and NZ) – a ‘normal’ year may only have 2.

This adds to the sense that we are living in extraordinary times of change.

2009 is a significant year for change.

During the month of July – just passed – we had 2 eclipses and there’ll be another one in a couple of days – Wednesday August 6th 10.26am Adelaide, Australia time.

So what does that mean? Well, a number of things!

• The symbolism (the astro sign in which the eclipse occurs) inherent in an eclipse can be a powerful clue to the evolutionary potential in an eclipse event
• Eclipses have been used to time significant events
• During eclipses our conscious intention – represented by the Sun - and our instinctive longing represented by the Moon, interact and one or the other take precedence
• Eclipses are known for shaking things up
• Eclipse time – a time for remembering and reconnection

Soul Searching

It's been nearly a week since the Full Moon Eclipse. I mentioned that i'd keep you in touch with 'events' from the Full Moon Eclipse's conjunction of my natal (birth placement) Moon.


Predictions are tricky things - and most Astrologers will admit to that. It's possible, and easy for some, to understand the possible dynamics created by the relationships between our neighbouring planets - but how that will actually unfold for the individual, or country etc, is near impossible to accurately predict. Although saying that - a lot of Astrologers were 'spot on' with predictions regarding the cataclysmic changes facing our economic system.


But personal predictions, i personally, steer clear of. How certain energy patterns are going to unfold is almost impossible to know, before hand anyway. Certainly somethings can be 'sensed', visions of future events are possible for some. Astrological techniques and a psychic 'sense' combined can be an impressive tool for future gazing. But not all Astrologers are psychic or psychics Astrologers.


Anyway, back to the Full Moon Eclipse conjuncting (sitting on) my Moon. The degree was exact, it caught my attention, i figured some effect would become evident.


The Moon rules over our emotions, our instincts, our home, our family, our fluids, our ancestry (particularly maternal), our receptivity, our psychic sense and our deepest needs - what we need to feel comfortable and safe. It has quite an impact on us, the Moon, as she does on our planet Earth. My natal Moon sits in the 8th house (Astro chart) - a house of deep, deep vibrations. An energy of deep union, the support of others, death and rebirth - transformation, and the deepest of deepest psychic connections with others. The 8th house is Scorpio's house - everything there is deep! What lies beneath the surface of things, no superficiality here, but the bare basic truths, ensconced in a rich tapestry of emotion.


So what happened? Like most things it took a while to unfold, or for me to notice. So used to walking in a sleep, unaware of the energetic movements within me. It started in true Virgo fashion - yes you're right - the body. Horrible, horrible headaches for nearly three days followed by the most uncomfortable indigestion. Well, i know that Virgo's weak spot is digestion and it doesn't take much to upset it. My partner would often draw my attention to my hand on my stomach - he knew immediately that i wasn't happy!


But this time, the upset was big - and as usual, my conscious mind had no idea what was happening. I hadn't had that kinda tummy upset for years!!! It's still happening (off to the Naturopath on Wednesday). Tried to focus on what 'i should be' doing - ie work etc - but very little energy, strength or motivation for it. What was/is happening wants my full attention. A Flower Essence i thought! I forget - and i make Flower Essences!!!!!!! Is there any hope!!!!! I can be quick to make one for someone else, but myself. . . . . i just forget, or do I? Or is it more like i don't think i'm worth the time! Sounds drastic, doesn't it, but do we really lose the love of ourselves so readily! Is the harsh conditioning and weathering of our life on earth, so damaging? But thank god there's hope - more than hope, we learn, we grow, we evolve and the longing to do so, if kept alive and flourishing, carries us to further flowering - of the divine beauty of our true self.


So made the Flower Essence - only 3 essences came to the fore - Wedding Bush, Greek Basil and Pink Poppy. At first glance thought - well, fairly concentrated, only 3 - about relationship with self, family karma, visions and obsessive, addictive behaviours.

I started taking them - and as always, with the Flower Essences, something 'magickal'' occurs. I feel it in my entire system - they move somehow (Meridians) through the body system, focusing gentle light on areas in need of healing. And they begin their work, of bathing and caressing - restoring to energetic balance. This can be felt - it amazes me!

I make them - or more correctly, i have the incredible gift of being a communicator for them (the Flower Deva) - yet it never stops amazing me how extraordinary they are. They can bring about an altered energetic state that lets me see what the 'problem' is, what is holding me back, what i'm still carrying. 'Cause we carry it all, in energetic form, until it's released, forgiven, let go of.

I went back to the brochure to look again at the meaning of the essences in my new blend. As their gentle energy was with me, i could feel them doing their work - so powerful is our Mother Gaia and her superlative gifts. It feels like gentle waves gently moving through my body, lighting, focusing, clearing, nurturing and re-orienting the focal points of imbalance.


Wedding Bush connects us with our relationships - our relationships with others, ourselves, our bodies, our communities, our earth. In life we have a relationship with everything - she shows us our relationship with our self, how healthy is it? Our relationship with our self is the basis for all our relationships.


Greek Basil helps us to uncover deep family connections. For long standing wounds and healing family karma. This evolves family energetics to a higher level, enabling a celebration of unity and growth. Uncovers the true, vibrant family essence.


Pink Poppy be flexible and go with the 'wind', uncovering the gift of visionary site, bringing dreams and visions of healing. Helps us to see what needs healing in our self, to 'see' beyond the obsessive, compulsive and addictive behaviours to what we really need and crave.


I could feel and see the 'uncovering' of the picture - deep and fathomless as it may be, steps were being taken to heal it.


A reminder, once again, that all that needs healing is within me - not in another. Only through the healing of my own loss of self love will any interaction outside of me change. Another Flower Essence that initially came up in the reading, but was not a priority for now ( pendulum) - was White Rose - the picture was becoming clear.


White Rose experiencing the lessons of unconditional love, we learn the alchemical process of attraction. Where the greatest transformation comes from changing one's own vibration. What we are is what we attract. Helps with clarity in matters of the heart, showing that only by changing our own vibration can we attract new and different experiences and people into our life.


That i 'stumbled' across the Flower Essence and the knowledge 'remembered' for creating them - has been, and is, a wonderful and cherished gift in my life. Flower Essences work in a very real way - so gently yet so focused in clarity, combining the innate wisdom of the body systems with the natural genius and love of Mother Nature.


So yes, the Eclipse did have a big impact on me - i'm still working with it, with the help of the Flower Essences, willing (albeitly indirectly at times) to face the truth - without which forward evolution and full participation in life is not possible.

Are you in tune with yourself? Am I in tune with myself? Neptune's Return is a good time to review this.


The planet Neptune is sitting at 25 degrees in the constellation of Aquarius - the same place as when it was first discovered in 1846. When a planet completes it's journey through all the constellations and returns to the same place, in this case it's place of discovery, in Astrological terms this is known as a Return.


Neptune being one of the outer planets of our solar system - travels slowly (from our perspective anyway!) - it's taken him 263 yrs to complete his journey. Neptune is 30 times further from the Sun than Earth.


Neptune rules the Zodiac sign Pisces - so it's not surprising that at the time of his discovery both Ether/anaesthetic and Photography appeared. Also significant contributions from both Darwin and Marx.


Neptune particularly influences fashion and music! So whatever constellations Neptune is visiting will influence both of these considerably. It's easy to track fashion cycles - just look at the sign Neptune was in at the time. Music, like fashion, is also influenced by this giant mass.


Neptune has the reputation for being evasive - or is he just hard to see clearly. Often surrounded by mist or fog - his contribution is not always obvious. With Neptune you need to 'feel' - he's not so easy to 'see'. In fact Neptune is all feel - he's the master teacher in that realm - he doesn't have another way of operating - he's all about 'flow'. Like the ocean, which he is linked - Neptune King of the Sea - he moves in rhythm to natures cycles. His sensitivity is extraordinary, he needs this to sense the mood, hear the rhythm and move with the cycle. He operates in the element of water - which flows. Water can be a powerful force- and faced with it's power, surrender is often the only recourse. He connects with the abundance of water within our bodies - they communicate, no words are needed. We sense, we intuit, we know, without having to be told - such is his ability to communicate and our ability to 'hear'.


Neptune also rules over the domains of artistic expression and the healing arts - both so dependent on intuiting, feeling and sensing.


So Neptune has returned what can that mean for us? In the Astrological Natal Chart a return is quite significant - particularly those of the outer, slow moving planets. During a period of Return we are often reminded of something, often forgotten in our busy scramble ahead. Reminded of something we knew was important in our life but put aside because there just wasn't enough time! When the planet returns to it's natal placement it brings back the energy of that placement - and we are reminded. Depending on the planet and it's placement this may not always be easy, but necessary for our way forward. This is often the case with the Returns of Saturn.


For me, I sense that Neptune's Return makes him more powerful, easier to be feel. Neptune is also connected to our desire to escape, to avoid - so maybe a time to see more clearly how we create situations that anesthetize us, so we can escape from our unconscious pains. Also an amazing time of creativity - maybe new awareness into healing with sound. The oceans and our waterways will also be more in focus. And in this time of transformative healing of the earth - possibly more storms and high tides.

But for me, I want to tune into him more - easy to ignore Neptune, or try to anyway - as he makes us feel so damn sensitive, it hurts! But sensitivity is the vehicle to explore his oceanic realms, his far away lands, his deepest mysteries.


Neptune's been a close companion of mine during my lifetime - I've feared him, tried to block him out, ignored him (or tried to), and plain refused to believe he existed. But that didn't change anything - just prolonged the desire to escape! He's powerful Neptune, but in a way that seems so diffused, so untouchable, so evasive, so hidden. But you have to feel with all your being - you see you can only feel him - your head is of absolutely no use here - I've tried it, I keep trying it - it's simply useless. Neptune has his own unique pathway and once you find it and have the faith in yourself to follow it - magickal realms of incredible beauty await you.

The times in which we live!

Are you feeling it? Are you feeling it? I’m sure you are, just what is happening on this planet of ours???


Well it’s been a pretty full on time! The big Solstice event on June 23rd was potently aspected! The energy of two of the heavy weights Uranus and Pluto challenged this event – Uranus squaring both the Sun and Moon and Pluto opposing them. These planets impart powerful energies of change, revolution, innovation, death, rebirth and power. A potent brew!


The day after this great event – there was a New Moon – a significant time of new beginnings! Pluto – the harbinger of power, death and rebirth – opposed this New Moon.
Beautiful, loving Venus and creative, active Mars snuggling together in Taurus has been a welcomed relief. A sense and need to comfort and nurture ourself, has been somehow easier to feel – thank god! – so needed during these trying times.


The big Chiron, Neptune and Jupiter cha, cha, cha – is moving things in huge ways – can you feel your awareness moving at lightening speed? I sure can, sometimes I just want to say ‘stop!!!!!! Give me some peace for a while. . . . .please!!!!’ Where’s the stop button! ‘Do I have to feel everything???"


Openings created by Neptune and Chiron can be stressful! This would be a good time to seek out your favourite therapist, particularly modalities that can realign the energy fields, which are being powerfully transformed and reshaped as we speak!


Well, these are big times – and big methods are needed! We really don’t like to be woken up do we? We much rather get all cosy on the couch in front of the fire, watching our favourite movie or reading our favourite book, warm drink in hand. Safe away from the troubles of the world – ‘just leave me here please!!’


But alas – this is not the time. Time for hiding away has gone – nowhere to hide, it’ll come and get you wherever you are.


But if you’re a good girl/boy and pay attention, step forward and act – then you can have your cosy times on the couch in front of the fire (we need those) – but not as an escape! ‘Cause you’re never going to be able to forget – ‘they’ are never going to let us forget what’s happening and what we need to do.


This is 2009 – I remember watching cartoons that depicted these times – cars flying through the air, people dressed in space gear. I have lived through the ‘50’s, ‘60’s, ‘70’s, ‘80’s’, ‘90’s’ and now here in 2009. Things may not have changed as we projected, on the outside – but on the inside – things are really flying! Awareness is flying, understanding is awakening and the community of the world is communicating.


These are very big times indeed.


The energy surrounding the Solstice sets the energy for the 3mth period ahead. The energy contributed by the big boys Uranus and Pluto at the Solstice event created a powerful and portentous (borrowed this from Babula, great word!) start to the new season. Portentous means solemn, ominous, alarming, significant, threatening, crucial and menacing.

To quote Babula (lovely Astrologer from Qld) ‘stay tuned as there will be more major world events coming in the coming weeks’

I remember having a peak at the New Year chart – on Jan 1st this year. I remember it, as normally I’m an optimistic type who usually looks for the strengths and positives – but looking at this chart I got the shivers, and felt an ominous sense. I couldn’t help but feel that things were going to be difficult this year.

And I sense that this is just the beginning – there is more to unfold. A lot of people are aware that the way we’ve structured our social systems simply isn’t working. And anything that’s not working eventually breaks down.

Things aren’t working in big ways – so a major overhaul appears to be before us. Major overhauls take a lot – a lot of patience, a lot of awareness, a lot of realness, a lot of understanding and a lot of courage.

These big fellows up in our Solar System are not just doing ‘their thing’ – we are all connected. They effect us and we effect them.
These are major transformational times and it is not a question of can we change but how will we change – change is a necessity not an option. The sooner we realise this, the easier it will become.

In just a few months Saturn, the taskmaster of hard work, discipline, focus and ‘building from the base’ strongly challenges Pluto, the bringer of death, rebirth and renewal of power. This is a huge combination with portentous (that word again) possibilities.

This aspect continues through 2010 following this in 2011 – Uranus squares (challenges) Pluto as well.
Adding to this potent brew we have arrived in an Eclipse period – two is July and one in early August. Eclipses are also potent times – they bring change (not that word again!), endings and beginnings for the world at large. They have a particular significance for those people who have planets at the same degrees of the Eclipse. The Lunar Eclipse on June 7th is at 15 degrees Capricorn (smack bang on my Moon, I’ll keep you in touch!) – the Total Solar Eclipse on July 22nd is at 29 degrees Cancer – and the Lunar Eclipse on August 6th is at 13 degrees Aquarius.

Eclipse energy can last over a period of 6 months – sometimes for years. So to have all this powerfully potent energy happening all around the same time – is significant indeed. We are already seeing some of the consequences. But hold your hats guys – there’s more on the way.

So dear fellow citizens of earth – choice of change we do not have – this is going to happen regardless – so the choice we do have now is – are we going to be a part of this change or are we going to resist it? Resisting the flow is always much more painful – energy likes to go with the flow, in this way it has much more strength (martial arts) and more power.

So from my protected little space – so warm and cosy, our very graced lives here in the land of Oz (for a lot of us anyway) – how can I contribute, how can I be a part of this incredible, spectacular event which is happening NOW – before our very eyes.

These are big time indeed – and require big people, big individuals to open their minds, open their heart to things we could never have dreamt of.

Consciously focus your time – lovingly structure your life – have fun and enjoy ever moment – ‘cause they never return.

So this month’s message for all the different ‘signs’ of the Zodiac is;
"This is a universal message and sent to each of you – ‘go into your heart, rest in your love – listen to your answer when you ask ‘what can I do now to be a part of the healing of this Earth? Within that, I’m sure you’ll find your own healing’

I was asked sometime ago to write an article for the Aquarius Rising newsletter. I did one the next day (‘quick’, I thought) then sent it off, I called it Courage. Meg (editor of newsletter) got back to me – "I think there’s something missing’ she said, "would you like to revisit it?"
That was some time ago now and the ‘story’ has still not been told.

So I sit down early, fingers on keyboard and wait with eager anticipation or is it cautious trepidation – for what will arise from the depths.
It’s easy, you see, to find some nifty bits, clever pieces that come straight from the head (and hands – in Gemini, they’re connected). For someone with a strong Mercury and Gemini, it comes naturally. But what about those deeper caverns, those seemingly inaccessible grottos? So deep that they are removed from conscious thought or memory.
Meg tells me that everyone has a story to tell – with my head, I have many – but what is the real one (for now)? Let’s see!

I came down to Adelaide almost a year ago now – a few things prompted this. The main stimulus for me is and always has been ‘my body’. Being a Virgo, I guess that’s not surprising!

I had worked hard to create a business and centre – Magick Moments – in Ipswich, Qld. My partner and I had completely renovated this lovely old (over 100 yrs) Queenslander house. The poor house had seen better days and once we started pulling everything apart it looked a real mess. I pulled off walls (much to my partner’s frustration), revealing incredible cedar boards beneath. He was frustrated because he had to fix anything I pulled apart – we had some very ‘trying’ times. I repaired, sanded and painted every square inch – inside and out. When I got to the outside that was a real scene – me perched up on scaffolding (which I’d hired and put up myself, with help) painting the outside of the house – it was a scorching heatwave and I was probably about 12 metres up in the air, precariously balancing with paint tin and brush in hand – it was very scary –!!! But I was determined! The poor neighbours – they were terrified for me! I had new floors put down where old boards had seen their final days – stripped all the old doors back to their beautiful wood, replacing a panel in one old door with simply gorgeous old pink glass. The place was coming alive!

When the renvo was finished it looked radiant – I had created my Magick Moments. Each person that came into that place, right up until I closed it, would all say ‘it feels so nice in here, what a beautiful place’. It was a very beautiful place and with the help of some others (particularly my partner Bryan - thank you so much!) I had created it!

I could also feel the change in the street, the energy seemed to have ‘lifted’ – it was palpable. Neighbours were so happy to have me there – they were all very sweet, Magick Moments had come to Keogh St. I experienced so much love there.

So why did I leave? Well it was August 2007, I’d just done my 2nd Astrology class (I’m self-taught, since 1959) with Babula in Mullumbimby (one of my favourite places). It was on the Black Moon. I wrote in my journal

"I took it as a sign to pull myself out of my groove for a few days during my Saturn Return and Lunar Eclipse. I hoped by being in a different environment it would widen my perspective and clarify my thoughts. Clear the cobwebs so to speak – illuminate my path ahead – on this most likely my last chapter here on earth. I knew there was change ahead – I could literally feel it in my ‘bones’ – but I was a bit afraid to instigate the changes – ‘what if?’ I mused. But I know if you don’t make changes when they’re due – they’ll be made for you. So best to get in first!"

I learnt that the Black Moon carries an energy of repression and loss, of the deepest, ancient feminine – like the lost goddess, the lost ancient mother. Her location can illuminate those areas of loss, pain and grief and show us how to heal these repressed energies. Bringing them alive, into conscious action so her strengths and wisdom can be used, to bring to life the goddess – her loving and caring ways.

I then went to spend some time at another of my favourite places Woodenbong, a gorgeous little town right on the Qld/NSW border, surrounded by mountains. It was my 2nd Saturn return and the day after was a Lunar Eclipse sitting directly on my Black Moon – a very powerful omen!

"Bit by bit the moon disappeared, not entirely, as I thought it might, but without the reflection of the sun, the moon looked like a muted red ball. As it went through its transformation I wondered what effect this must be having on all the bodies in the sky. "It must be having some effect," I thought. "How would this effect all the other planetary bodies?" Something cannot happen like this and not have any effect. It’s a huge event. I wondered how this would be effecting all the stars, how would they feel? What lasting effect would this have on them?

Something as large as a planet has a tremendous energetic field and when that’s altered it changes the entire field. It was kind of eerie in a way – this reddish huge planet sitting in the sky. It was clear that it is a planet and that it sits so close to us here on earth"

The eclipse was powerful, very powerful – and it changed my life!
Watching it was simply staggering! The night sky in Woodenbong is always brilliant – but this night something really powerful occurred. I awoke the next morning and new everything had been changed.

There were some more ‘hints’ or should I say ‘shoves’. I was still finding ‘reasons’ in my head, for not making changes. So guess what? Yes my body made sure I was listening. For the first time in my life I called the ambulance – something very weird was happening in my body and I didn’t know what it was. They took me to hospital with concern it may be a heart attack. All tests were fine. It happened again a couple of weeks later – this time they kept me in longer – but still nothing showing on the ‘machines’. I knew something was happening but it wasn’t ‘gross’ enough yet to register on their machines. The time for change had come. To add to that, one morning soon after, sitting at breakfast – the words came loud and clear ‘now is the time’ – they sounded insistent.

So the dismantling process began – it was huge – my beautiful home and Magick Moments! My beautiful home, which I’d invested so much time and energy, so much love – created much beauty and comfort – and my garden, my glorious garden. I had literally planted hundreds of trees and shrubs. I made many of my Flower Essences (Deva-line) from my garden. In fact the birth of my Deva-line Flower Essences began there. This was an enormous job! Extricating myself from all that I’d created was massive – simply massive.

The overwhelming sense of change that seemed to be occurring within every cell of my being – was overpowering – I simply had to concede. So I did.
It took around 9 mths for the whole transformation – from the initial ‘sense’ to leaving for Adelaide. That 9-month period has come again at different times – it really is a ‘gestation’ period.

Within that time of gynormous change I visited my values many times – they were my guiding lights – they kept me going. "What is important to me?" I would ask again and again. These values led me here – for now – who knows what the future holds?
Just recently my partner commented (in good humour) when I mentioned that I was ‘easy going’ - ‘you are many things, Courageous, very loving (at times!) and determined – but ‘easy going’ ‘I don’t think so!’ I had to agree! But there was that Courage word again!

Am I courageous – I don’t know. What I do know is that I have to be true to myself, I have to listen to what I’m saying, that voice never leads me astray.

"Time to do everything you want – live the life you’ve been putting off until tomorrow – ‘cause remember, tomorrow never comes"!

You could say these words are relevant for me in my life having turned 60 – but they are always relevant, every moment of every day they are relevant – because it’s my life – my very precious life.

Today is a big day in the 'heavens' - the massive system of space and life above us - the Sun is shifting direction!
Such a huge mass of living matter -so crucial for our existence here on earth has slowed, stopped and is just about (3.16pm exact Adelaide/Australia time) to begin his brilliant journey in a new direction.
For us down here in Oz it means 'yahoo - summer's on the way" - a little way ahead yet, but the focus is there!

Life is a lot about 'focus' isn’t it?

With the focus of such a giant, powerful mass of matter - this surely must have an impact! Imagine the focus, commitment and effort it must take for the Sun - to slow, stop and change direction - and why? Well, from my meagre mental meandering - i'd say - for the benefit of us here on Earth. So us down here can start to get warmer and you up there to cool for a while!

This life - such a miracle - such immense intelligence - so awe inspiring!
This incredible Earth - this awesome Universe and us magnificent Humans - enough for us to admire and investigate for eons, i would think!

So with this powerful energy occurring as i speak/write - how can i - how can you - use this gift in time to change directions in our own life? How can we muster all our focus, commitment and effort to build momentum into a new direction, one which is in sync with life and it's incredible intelligence.

Humans have been celebrating these special times - Solstices - for many a millennium, for various reasons. So how can you and i stop, refocus and move in a way in sync with life - our life and the life which surrounds us!

It's Full Moon time again!

The Sun and Moon are coming together, uniting their incredible energy - for a simply glorious display in the heavens above us! What actually happens at a Full Moon? It's the phase of the Moon when she sits on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun - facing each other. So the hemisphere of the Moon facing the Earth is almost fully illuminated by the Sun. They are reflecting each other, joining forces, combining their strengths to illuminate the surroundings - the surroundings being the constellation in which they are visiting.

They are currently travelling thru the constellation of Gemini and Sagittarius. Gemini and Sag sit opposite each other in the zodiacal wheel - this is known as an opposition in Astro terms. Signs in opposition are often described as being difficult to deal with, as they actually 'oppose' each other. They do provide the challenge for 'balance', but this opportunity grants us the chance to meet in the middle, take our egocentric vision away from ourselves and look at what is facing us. How can we blend the energies of self with that of the opposite self? I've always felt that opposites actually have a lot in common, they just look at things from opposite angles - this can actually give them tremendous insight, which joined together can create a more expansive view of the whole.

So when the Sun and Moon come into opposition - a huge opportunity exists - to see a greater view of the spectrum - what an opportunity! I guess that's why Full Moons have been celebrated since times long ago. People have performed rituals around the time of the full moon in many cultures. Even in our modern culture, many of our institutions have become acutely aware of this time of the month as they record more heightened levels of 'incidences' than normal. Apart from all of that - they are just magnificent to behold. Nature seems to come alive, as the Moon shines her gentle, loving energy on all - things seem heightened somehow, as if her brilliant energy transmutes a special magick. I just love the full moons - i feel like i want to bathe in her special aura, dance with all the 'litte folk', and celebrate this majestic time.

It's a shame that our modern lives often keep us indoors at night, missing her brilliant show. Why not create your own special ritual for the next full moon - acknowledge her, honour her - in that you will be acknowledging and honouring yourself, as she reflects back all you give.

Gemini and Sagittarius rule over the areas of our lives involved with gathering, sharing and communicating knowledge whilst seeking an even higher understanding of that knowledge - to evolve us to a greater level of understanding and wisdom. Gemini has the skill, curiosity and interest to search and seek out myriads of pieces of information and data which she contributes to the 'whole'. Sag doesn't have a lot of patience with bitty bits - his focus is on the big picture - how it all comes together. He has an innate understanding that a higher knowledge exists and he can take all this data and expand it till he sees the 'core', the diamond of wisdom within it. This he loads in his bow and aims far and wide - so we can all see this wisdom, as it illuminates our path ahead.

So what can that mean for us? Well, where in your life do you need to take your mental meanderings and create a bigger picture? How can you us the tools of your gathered knowledge, the information at hand - and paint it out on the hugest canvas you can find. Often things look clearer when they're bigger!

As a cute adjunct - i've developed this painful red swelling on the very point of my nose - not a good look! My realistic, analytic mind told me that's what happens when going from cold to hot temperatures - and being winter, that's what's happening. Then i thought - what is it that's right in front of me, literally at the end of my nose? It's becoming exaggerated to get my attention. Because i can get lost in my mental meanderings - what am i not seeing - that is obviously clear to everyone! The body is a wonderful point of reference - always! I'll hopefully busy myself in front of the computer today, so nobody has to see what is obvious to them and not me (i can just feel it) - my red nose!

So what needs to be taken out of the caven of your mind and magnified onto the canvas of your life? A little exercise - just start to keep looking for the big picture in everything around you at present - move those eyes from the computer screen to the scene outside your window - what is all around you that you keep missing because your focus is too narrow? I guess we gravitate a lot more to Gemini or maybe that's just me! But wherever there is Gemini - there also is Sag - they come together on the one continuum. You don't get one without the other.

So how can we/i give the old head a rest, respect the effort involved with gathering all this information - but create a break, a space so that all this information can alchemize into a more wholistic form. Good time to do a painting or a collage - get out all those ideas and thoughts from the head and put them on a canvas, a display - so you can clearly see the picture.

Use this special time - so abundantly given to us by our precious Mother Gaia - to illuminate the vision that sits within you right now - waiting so longingly for manifestation.

Let her light truely guide you to the manifestation of your ideas and thought - create your vision, our beautiful Mother Moon is supporting you.

Moments of Magick

Today's the last day of May 2009 - only approx 3 weeks to the Winter Solstice, the longest day - midpoint for the Sun's journey around the globe.

The Sun still works in 'real' time, not techno time. We can go around the world in minutes, thanks to technological advancement and our minds are free to travel wherever they like, whenever they like - they know no bounds.

Technological advancement has created much good in our societies and most of us now rely heavily on it - like me now on the computer, communicating to you wherever you are! Someone may read this in Iceland, Russia or China, great eh! Or does it have it's flip side? I guess everything has it's flip side.

Whilst i'm communicating now to possible audiences around the world, my body sits here in Earth time. I'm influenced and affected by the cycles of the planets around the Earth i live on - most notably the Sun and Moon. My food is grown on the Earth, the water i need so desperately to survive comes from the earth. The air i breath is facilitated by the plants and trees that grow on the Earth. All of my loved ones live on the Earth. My house is mainly built with materials that are taken from the Earth. Babies are born from bodies nurtured and supported by the Earth.

So yes we live by Earth time too.

But it can be a bit of a schizophrenic existence at times - body in/on the Earth - mind and thoughts, where?

The mind is very alluring - it promises many things - some possible, some complete fantasy - what can we trust? Having a strongly aspected 'mental' astro influence i speak from experience. The element Air - in Astrology - represent the mental aspects of ourselves. The element Earth represents the physical, Water the emotional and Fire the intuitive and active elements of us.

Being a Virgo with a Moon in Capricorn makes me a double Earth sign and with an Ascendant in Gemini - adds the influence of the mental.

Astrology is a very useful tool for understanding our personal nature and why we operate the way we do. My initial impression of Astrology being a science and a wonderful form of Pyschology (back in 1960) still remains with me today. Within this area it can be very useful.

So having a strong influence of Earth i feel a strong connection with the Earth - i hear it, i feel it and i understand it. With Air on the Ascendant i often become seduced by the mind and what it promises to the detriment of my body. This is not a whole analysis of me here, just to give you an idea of it's connection to us personally.

We live in times where it's becoming obvious to most that the way we're treating the Earth is wrong - you don't need a degree in science to work that out! I believe that if we're abusing the Earth, than we are also abusing our bodies - the two are connected, physically and psychically. I also believe that if we start to look after our bodies we will also look after the Earth - they are made of the same material.

Living in a world where the mind has run rampant for some may be exciting - for others simply abhorrent. This is not the 1950's - where 'all is well', 'all is perfect', 'all is operating efficiently'. The veil of 'pretence' is falling rapidly - revealing the rotten corpse underneath.

Life is a wonderful and magickal gift. Mother Nature's kingdom is simply stupendous. She showers us with gifts constantly - she nurtures us, she sustains us.

We live in 2009 - how many of you couldn't even have conceived the idea of getting here? 2009 - only 3 years away from the heavily debated 2012.

But our bodies live in now time - live on earth time - so each moment, each breath we have a choice - do we choose life or do we choose death. Simple really. How do we choose life every moment, every day. How do we get behind sustainability, natural growth, wholistic evolution and creative and nurturing change?

We can do it, i know we can - we just need to remind each other and help each other along the way.

The planet Mercury is just about ready to move forward again - within the next few hours. He's been travelling backward since May 5th - so some of those frustrating delays should be moving forward very soon. And those things you seem to have mislayed? They should turn up! All personal matters put on hold or delayed should start falling into place. It's probably a boon that Mercury decides to do a backward tango every so often - even though it can feel bl....dy frustrating! As he travels forward with such speed at times (our mental facilities) - that it gives us some breathing space, time for reflection and review - before we finally move forward with our plans.

So get ready for all those things on pause to begin moving forward, quickly - you've been warned!

Neptune started moving backwards on Friday - just as Mercury was getting ready for his forward push. I was aware this was coming up and having Neptune as quite a significant personal influence - i was very curious as to how this would unfold. I've been very surprised. Since he's started his movement in reverse, i've felt so much more energy, clarity, enthusiasm and passion. I would never have thought that it would have had this affect. I won't bore you with all my mental meanderings and suppositions on the subject - but i will do some research on it - maybe for another time. As Neptune is a very powerful planet - he often appears hidden behind his misty clouds - his approach is definitely not direct - he is mysterious and incredibly subtle. Maybe he becomes more direct in his retrograde stage? All i know is that the influence has been sudden and direct - correlating with his movements - so will be interesting to 'uncover' the meaning. 'Uncover' is probably another word that could be attributed to Neptune - as he surrounds himself with much mysterious substance. He appears to hide, 'find me if you can' he taunts as he changes form again. Neptune has a very strong influence on our creative expression - now may be a super wonderful time to really get into all those creative projects you've been putting off. Neptune is stopping and sitting with you for a while - so his influence is strong. It can be a real ball with Neptune when you get used to his ways - so drift on and out!

Chiron - often referred to as the 'Maverick' of the zodiac and governing over the domain of healing - has also just started his retrograde stage. Chiron is a bit of an enigma - he's referred to as the 'Wounded Healer' - and his position in our natal chart refers to the personal place where we carry our 'wound'. We all have one, 'the wound that can't be healed' - but just in different areas of our psyche. It is not a physical wound but one which affects our psyche and thus our whole approach to life. Chiron's reverse movement will also bring him into our lives more acutely. Moving back and forward over ground already visited - trying to get a message across. Chiron is currently in the constellation of Aquarius so his message is for and about humanity. Where, in our own personal psychic wound do we affect the human family? How can we, by being aware of our own mortal wound, be a part of the healing of the whole?

The grand triple conjunction of Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter in Aquarius is significant indeed. It's all about the huge, magickal healing which is taking place on earth now! The coming together of these three giants is notable indeed. Such a magnificent play happening above us as we go about our daily lives - a grand performance, a brilliant orchestration. As is above so is below - we are all a part of this divine theatre.

So in the midst of some pretty 'heavy' influences upon us -come the trio of Neptune, Jupiter and Chiron. This of course always has it's 'healing' requirements - but overall such a shining 'signal' of healing times ahead.

Jupiter will also be beginning his retro period from June 16th.

So this trio is surely making huge efforts to get their message across - one way or another.

There's a Full Moon coming up on June 8th - in Sag - so let those dreams and visions soar - believe in them. With all the learning and healing that is taking place - take this knowledge to even greater heights - explore further the incredible opportunities that are available for us now.
