The mid-year point is moving near
2010 - a year we will remember
A lot unfolding - still to come
the ground will shake
we may lose our balance
something so solid required
for each one
an anchor of hope
a base of love
as the landscapes change
before our eyes
onto what do we hold
that won't let us down
such enormous times
but it's said we chose
to be here now
so much learning
it would not be possible
for most
to afford the cost
such exquisite education
knowledge of the ages
so as we move on with our days
take a moment to ponder
if all comes tumbling down
on what will you hold to?
